Serviced Apartments in Seattle

The Space needle, Skycity Restaurant, The Olympic Mountains, metal trees, eyeball benches and clam chowder, just a few of the things you can expect to experience when renting a serviced apartment or holiday letting in Washington’s ‘Emerald City’.

Your first stop in the incredible city of Seattle should be the Space Needle. Take a trip up to the observation deck of Seattle’s famous, 605 feet tall landmark and enjoy breathtaking views of the city below. Why not grab a bite to eat in the rotating restaurant, Skycity, or just enjoy a cocktail or two whilst watching a spectacular sundowner. In an hour you will have travelled a full 360 degrees.

Your serviced residence or aparthotel in Seattle is also within easy access of The Olympic Sculpture Park. This relatively new park boasts some incredible sculptures by famous artists including Alexander Calder and Richard Serra. Look out for the amazing metal tree sculpture, it took me a while before I realised it wasn’t actually a real tree and, if you want to take the weight off, you can take a seat on an eye bench. These surreal creations are heavily hooded eyeballs that have a seat at the back where you can rest up for a few minutes and enjoy the surroundings. There is something intriguing and exciting around every corner of this park and is well worth an hour or so of your time.

Not too far from your apartment rental or holiday let in Seattle and within close proximity of The Olympic Sculpture Park is Seattle Waterfront. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, stop to watch the boats pull in and out, explore the piers, check out ‘Ye Olde Curiosity Shop’ and grab a coffee at the original Starbucks. From here you can reach Pike Place Market, a wonderful open air market where you can grab yourself a bargain or two and plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and beautiful homemade crafts. Once you’ve worked up an appetite stop off at Pike Place Chowder. Here you can enjoy just about every variety of thick and creamy chowder under the sun from clam chowder to seafood bisque, chicken and sweet corn chowder to smoked salmon chowder. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful, this place is popular but it’s well worth waiting in line for. The scallop dill chowder is just delicious.
