Malaysia

A country of almost 28,000,000 people, Malaysia is found in Southeast Asia and is largely spread over two regions; Peninsula Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo. The country has a successful economy, growing year on year for half a century and this has led to a comprehensive infrastructure and excellent selection of serviced apartments in Malaysia. The capital city, Kuala Lumpur, is home to a permanent population of 1.4 million and is known for its striking skyline including the Petronas Twin Towers, once the tallest buildings in the world. The climate of the capital is representative of the country as a whole with the consistent heat averaging 32°C for the year.

As well as the impressive big cities (the lesser known Subang Jaya actually has the highest population in the country, just ahead of Kuala Lumpur) Indonesia is also hugely popular with eco-tourists. There are numerous national parks and nature reserves spread over the two main regions of the country with the Kinabalu and Teman Negara national parks being the most famous. Malaysia also has a number of tropical islands popular with those looking for beach holidays such as Labuan, Pangkor and Redang islands. Culturally, George Town and the Mulu Caves found in the city of Miri are two famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites to be visited and enjoyed.
