Andorra

The principality of Andorra is a tiny landlocked country sandwiched between France and Spain. Andorra la Vella is its capital and the official language is the Spanish dialect of Catalan. The country has a reputation for being the home of many a millionaire and tax exile and has an extremely high quality of living.

With a country population of only 85,000 people, Andorra is the sixth smallest nation in Europe and has an overall land area of just 181 square miles. The country benefits from an Alpine geology and climate and is full of beautiful, rocky mountains. Serviced apartments in Andorra are available all year round and despite its high altitude and rocky geology, the country benefits from 300 days of sunshine a year.

The main industry of the country is tourism with approximately 10m visitors each year. This industry is bolstered by the country's tax-free status as many well-to-do individuals base themselves in the tiny country. As well as the capital, the other main tourist destinations in the country are Saint Miquel d’Engolasters, La Massana and Soldeu; but of course in a country this size you can easily explore the whole nation during your holiday.
