Serviced Apartments in Moscow

A rented serviced apartment or holiday letting in the vast, sprawling city of Moscow will provide a heady mix of traditional, Russian architecture, rich history and intriguing culture that will make you wish you had booked a longer vacation.

Situated on the Moskva River this incredible capital is also home to the age old fort, the Moscow Kremlin, which, as well as being home to the Russian President, is also a World Heritage Site and you can enjoy a guided tour around the grounds of this somewhat imposing building and take in all it’s glory.

Another building that is a must when visiting Moscow is St. Basil’s Church, this colourful, fantastical piece of architecture is like something straight out of a children’s story book, with swirled, onion domes topping the numerous turrets and beautifully sculpted and coloured relief work, this amazing structure is well worth not just a visit but several photographs for the holiday album as well.

No trip to Moscow would be complete without a visit to Red Square. The heart and soul of not only Moscow but, because of it’s central position is said to also be the heart of Russia, this beautiful cobbled square is now a World Heritage Site and is surrounded by many of Moscow’s impressive buildings including the Kremlin, St. Basil’s Church, Kazan Cathedral, the State Historical Museum and Lenin’s Mausoleum, where the embalmed body of Lenin is housed.

A serviced residence or aparthotel in Moscow also gives you access to Alexandrovsky Garden, a lush green area with beautiful, vibrant beds of flowers which is also home to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This is a nice place to sit and contemplate as well as paying your respects to the unknown serviceman. Izmaylovsky Park and Royal Estate is a lovely piece of unspoilt countryside with vast woodlands and a recreational area that is ideal for leisurely walks and a quiet picnic. There is also an Arts and Crafts market here at weekends which is well worth a browse.

The most well known bathhouse in Moscow, the Sandunovskiye Baths are around 200 years old. Come here if you fancy a dip, sauna or invigorating massage and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing afternoon.

A superb place to eat that is within a short distance of your apartment rental or self-catered apartment in Moscow is Café Puskin. Here you can enjoy Russian cuisine in one of several rooms including the library or Al Fresco on the roof top terrace. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the seafood dumplings are exquisite.
