Serviced Apartments in Odessa

Some incredible sights await you when you rent a serviced apartment or holiday letting in Odessa, ‘The Pearl of the Black Sea’.
This delightful port city is situated in southern Ukraine, on pretty terraced hills which overlook the harbour. An idyllic holiday destination.

This city seems to hold the key to creative inspiration and has inspired many musicians, artists, writers and poets including Alexander Pushkin. Take a stroll over to the Alexander Pushkin Museum where you will find out all there is to know about the famous poet, why he was exiled to Odessa and the creative works he gave birth to whilst in this amazing city. In another part of the city you will also find his statue and a street named after him. Perhaps you too will be able to tap into the creative force that drove so many people like Alexander to achieve such great works.

Your serviced residence or aparthotel in Odessa also gives you access to the Odessa Catacombs. These manmade underground passageways and caverns are the result of limestone excavation which was used to build many of the city’s houses around 200 years ago. The caves were further developed by smugglers and there are now around 2,500 kilometres of passageways under Odessa. Much of the vast labyrinth is closed off to the public as it has been deemed unsafe but there is a small portion that you can still explore via the Museum of Partisan Glory.

Potemkin Steps are a rather bizarre but iconic symbol of Odessa. These steps appear perfectly normal from the top looking down but when standing at the foot of the staircase and looking up the steps appear to merge together into a pyramid shape that looks virtually impossible to climb.

Try to take a couple of hours out of your day to visit the lovely City Garden and just relax in this delightful park. Follow one of the many paths and see where it leads you, sit by the fountain or on one of the benches and take in the lush surroundings. If you come here in the evening you may well catch some great live music whilst you enjoy a drink in one of the cafes at either end of the park.

A nice place to enjoy an evening meal that is within close proximity of your apartment rental or holiday let in Odessa is Kumanets. Here you can enjoy delicious Ukrainian cuisine Al Fresco served by staff in traditional costume. The Ukrainian ravioli is out of this world.
