Serviced Apartments in Istanbul

If you are considering renting a serviced apartment or holiday letting in Istanbul then you certainly won’t be disappointed. Here you can enjoy incredible ancient architecture, fascinating archaeological artefacts, atmospheric bazaars, delicious Turkish cuisine and exploring the beautiful Princes Islands.
This mega city, situated in the Bosphorus Strait, has something for everyone and guarantees a truly memorable vacation.

The ideal place to start your exploration of Istanbul is Sultanahmet, Istanbul Old Town. Much of the city’s ancient architecture is housed here including the incredible Blue Mosque. This beautiful mosque sits comfortably on the site of previous ancient palaces and boasts 6 lovely minarets, well worth a browse. Take a look at the stunning great catherdral, Hagia Sophia and the Built Pillar which was once completely encased in bronze. Wander over to the vast hippodrome where many a sport took place and sit quietly for a few minutes next to the lovely baroque style Ahmet III Fountain, built around 300 years ago and boasting four spouts. In Sultanahmet you will also find the intriguing Serpentine Column said to be made of entirely of the bronze shields belonging to Persian soldiers that died in the battle of Palatea. Sadly, of the three snakes that coil around this column, two have lost their heads but you can view one of the snake heads in the Archaeology Museum. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Your serviced residence or apart hotel in Istanbul also gives you access to the plethora of museums in this city including Rahmi M. Koc Museum. This museum houses a fantastic collection of vehicles, some of which date back to the 19th century. There are plenty of cars, aircraft, submarines and locomotives to keep any petrol head happy for a few hours.

Dogancay Museum showcases the contemporary works of Burhan Dogancay and the Istanbul Archaeology Museum houses 1,000,000 artefacts from numerous regions including the Mediterranean Basin. A thoroughly absorbing few hours.

From your apartment rental or holiday let in Istanbul you can also explore the Princes Islands. Of the 9 islands only 5 are inhabited and vehicles are prohibited on the islands but you can take an enjoyable tour in a horse drawn carriage. Many of the islands house beautiful religious buildings and the largest island, Buyukada, boasts 4 Greek churches and an absolutely wonderful Greek monastery nestled comfortably in the hills. It’s also worth looking out for the stunning summer mansions built in the Art Nouveau style and why not enjoy a delicious meal and a chilled bottle of wine at one of the seafood restaurants on the islands whilst admiring incredible views of Istanbul across the water. The perfect end to the day.
