In the castle grounds you will find the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, a really interesting museum where you will find numerous exhibits of artefacts found in the local waters and washed up on the shores. The marina is a beautiful spot to just sit and watch the boats go in and out and you could always take a boat cruise yourself and travel around the peninsula where you will find many pretty little coves and secluded beaches as well as viewing the captivating city of Bodrum from the water.

Up on a hill overlooking the city of Bodrum you will find a collection of lovely old windmills which are well worth a look. They are a little tired looking and could do with a fair bit of TLC but their charm is still obvious and here makes for a lovely location for a quiet picnic and a few restful hours amidst these elderly, wind driven residents.
