Serviced Apartments in Vera
Located halfway between Almeria and Cartagena on the south-east coast of Spain is the small town and holiday destination of Vera. The town is less than 60 miles away from Almeria International airport; just over an hour by car. The town centre is around 5 miles inland from the coast, but the beaches of the area are generally considered to be part of it. Holiday rentals in Vera are of a very good standard and offer tourists the chance to stay in an authentic Spanish coastal town. The town is full of wonderful architecture and tails of folklore to be enjoyed. The excellent Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum is a wonderful place to begin for those wishing to learn about the history of the town and surrounding area. The Moorish occupation and subsequent repulsion had a significant effect on the town, leaving behind plenty of typically Arabian architecture. Holiday apartments in Vera are well located to enjoy the sights and get a real feel for the friendly atmosphere created by the locals. One of the ways the locals express their character and local pride is by holding plenty of fiestas and street parties throughout the year. Many of these parties are held in the Plaza del Toros bullring; even if you do not approve of the sport itself, the parties are certainly a lot of fun. Every Saturday the entire main street is home to a wonderful market where locals sell all sorts of souvenirs and handcrafts. Despite its relatively small size, this is not a quiet and withdrawn town with Vera holiday lettings putting you in the heart of plenty of hustle and bustle. There is a whole host of 16th and 17th-century religious monuments to explore such as the Convent de los Padres Mínimos and Church de la Encarnación. The 19th-century Chapel of Nuestra Señora de las Huerta was built a little bit later but is also one of the most striking buildings in town. Vera city centre (center) apartments are surrounded by these and many other impressive buildings. A Vera apartment rental also gives fantastic access to the coastline, with its many beautiful beaches and resorts. As well as plenty of golden sands and warm seas to enjoy, the seafront is lined with restaurants, tavernas and bars, providing plenty of evening entertainment. Just a few minutes away by hire car or taxi, it is very easy to travel down to the beach to watch the sunset, before returning back to the town itself. Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, holiday lets and aparthotels can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home. With plenty of room why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay in spacious surroundings in and around Vera.
