Serviced Apartments in Valldemossa
Valldemossa is a village and holiday resort on the north-west coast of the Balearic Island of Majorca. The village is well-known for its array of monasteries, some dating back to the 14th century, as well as being surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside on the island. Being just inland from the coast, apartment rentals in Valldemossa also provide easy access to the beautiful beaches of the area. By far the most famous landmark of the village is the Valldemossa Charterhouse. The building was constructed as a residence for royalty, before being converted into a monastery in the 19th century. Originally built in the 14th century, the charterhouse has a rich history, well documented in the museum within its grounds. Many famous names have stayed in the building over the years, such as Frédéric Chopin and the author George Sand. Being a small village, the house dominates the landscape and is easily seen from virtually any holiday rental in Valldemossa. The village is also full of traditional Spanish stonework architecture and sits in a rather picturesque valley running down to the coast. The well-known resort of Port des Canonge is around 15 minutes away by car, whilst the idyllic landscape of Deià is about the same distance away in the opposite direction. This being Majorca, the coastline of typically rugged with many small bays and coves to explore, many hiding small and well sheltered beaches. The beautiful coastline is certainly one of the main benefits of staying in a Valldemossa holiday apartment. As far as the weather is concerned, the best time to book a holiday letting in Valldemossa is from June to September. During these months, most days will see temperatures in the mid to late 20s Celsius. Being situated in the more mountainous region of Majorca, it is not uncommon for snow to fall during the winter. There is also often quite a bit more rain from October to March, but virtually none in June, July and August. Spending some time in a Valldemossa self-catered apartment or serviced residence is best suited to those with an appreciation of history and traditional architecture. Whereas many of the other resorts on the island are popular with young groups looking to enjoy the 24-hour party atmosphere, Valldemossa is an altogether quieter and more laid back destination. Being only about a 30 minute drive from the airport, the village is also very easy to reach. Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, holiday lets and aparthotels can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home. With plenty of room why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay in spacious surroundings in and around Valldemossa.
