Serviced Apartments in Noja
Just a picturesque 45 minute drive from the famous Spanish town of Santander is the small town of Noja. To the east of Santander, this village of 2500 residents sits on the coast of the Bay of Biscay and is mainly a tourist destination during the traditional summer months. During the months of June, July and August, the population more than doubles as visitors arrive to enjoy the beautiful beach and coastline. There are plenty of holiday rentals in Noja to cater for couples, groups and families. The village itself is located on a slight outcrop into the Bay of Biscay, and has a notable bay of its own on its western side. There is also a small golf course to be enjoyed to the north of the town centre; easily accessible along the spacious streets of the town. Generally speaking, the village is split into the beachside and more residential areas, but not being a particularly large resort, it is easy to get around on foot. The majority of holiday lettings in Noja are to be found near to the beach. After a day of sightseeing or lounging around catching a tan, there are a number of quaint and traditional tavernas in the village in which to enjoy traditional Spanish food. Being on the coast, much of the menu is made up of excellent local seafood; freshly caught that day. You'll also find the traditional and popular Spanish dish of tapas available, as well as more international cuisine. There are also some larger restaurants to be found in and amongst the serviced apartments in Noja, catering more for larger groups and families. There are plenty of daytrip options when staying in a Noja apartment rental; as well as the obvious daytrip to Santander, to the east you will find the attractive town of Santoña, as well as the city and port of Castro Urdiales. As you travel further south from the coast, the countryside becomes more green and lush, and destinations such as Hazas de Cesto and Entrambasaguas are a great alternative. Most people travel to Noja via Santander, either by aeroplane or ferry. The best of the weather is to be found from June to mid-October, with average highs of around 20 to 22°C to be enjoyed. Despite being a small resort, many short term and self-catered apartments in Noja are open all year round, as some visitors arrive for short winter breaks. Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, holiday lets and aparthotels can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home.
