Serviced Apartments in Logroño
Logroño is a beautiful city in the Rioja region of northern Spain. If you love wine and lovely buildings, along with a smattering of history, then a serviced apartment in Logroño will deliver the perfect holiday for you. Many people who have fallen in love with Spain having visited the country for a beach holiday soon begin to feel that they want to spend some time in the ‘real’ Spain, inland and steeped in the ancient countryside and this is where a holiday rental in Logroño comes in. Built on the river Ebro, Logroño has lovely bridges spanning the water and has been a settlement since Roman times. It has often been fought over and no wonder – the setting is lovely and it is in the rich wine country of Rioja, in a fertile river valley. You won’t have to fight anyone to get your holiday let in Logroño arranged, but you will fall in love with the city as soon as you get there. There are lovely parks, in particular del Ebro and the park of San Miguel. Logroño was on the pilgrims’ path to Santiago de Compostella and the pilgrims have left their mark in wide roads – one of them, Calle del Laurel, known as the path of the elephants. Eating out is always an important part of any Spanish day and while you are staying in a city centre (center) apartment in Logroño this is a very easy thing to do – for one thing, there are over fifty tapas bars in the town! A famous local dish is seta, made with mushrooms, but you must make sure you try the local marzipan when you rent an aparthotel in Logroño. It also makes a very good souvenir to take home and is available as part of a dessert or as a sweetmeat. If you like old buildings, and churches in particular, then you will get a lot out of your apartment rental in Logroño. The cathedral of Santa Maria de la Redonda was built in the early sixteenth century and is well worth a visit, as is the slightly later Iglesia de Santiago – the church of St James. Some of the medieval walls of the town are still left, including the Carlos I gate. If you have children staying with you in your Logroño self-catered apartment or serviced flat you may have to leave town to find them something to do. The Dinosaur Route will engage the attention of any small boy, as it takes you out of town, by way of actual dinosaur footprints. Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, holiday lets and aparthotels can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home. With plenty of room why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay in spacious surroundings in and around Logroño. From budget serviced apartments, through to mid range and luxury serviced apartments in Logroño, compare prices and get an instant booking confirmation at CityCentreApartments.com
