Serviced Apartments in Cala Blanca
Found on the west coast of the Balearic Island of Minorca (Menorca), Cala Blanca is a modern and popular seaside resort located about 5 km south of the nearby town of Ciutadella. Beach breaks and serviced accommodation in Cala Blanca have become more popular over recent years due to its modern infrastructure, beautiful beaches and quiet surroundings. Cala Blanca is actually one of the newest seaside resorts on the island having sprung up mainly in the last 20 years. This is despite the resort being on the opposite end of the island to the international airport. The trip from your arrival on the island your Cala Blanca holiday apartment will take about 45 minutes but does have the benefit of passing through either the island's inland or coastal routes. The trip can be made either by car rental, airport transfer or taxi depending on your preference. In the resort itself, getting around is a pretty straightforward affair and there is even a miniature train which runs around the resort all day and into the evening. There is also a regular bus service running north into Ciutadella if you fancy a day out you in that nearby town. Of course, most visitors will be booking service apartments in Cala Blanca to make use of the beach. There are actually two small beaches which are generally very clean and tidy. They are a number of water sports providers offering various activities in the sea, and also plenty of small stalls offering refreshments during the day. There is also an excellent shopping centre in the middle of town. This area is pedestrianised and has the usual souvenir shops and minimarkets you'd expect to see in a tourist resort. You also have the choice of either eating out in one of the many restaurants and tavernas available or purchasing your own supplies to cook back at your Cala Blanca apartment rental. For entertainment in the evenings, there are a few nightclubs and bars to choose from but this is far removed from the 24 hour party atmosphere available in some other areas of the Balearics. Cala Blanca self-catered apartments and serviced flats generally suit those looking for a quieter island getaway, rather than a hedonistic booze and dance music fuelled holiday. Not one of the better known destinations in the Balearics, but certainly an option when it comes to those looking for a resort which is a little bit out of the way. Those travelling with children may also enjoy this resort. Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, holiday lets and aparthotels can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home. With plenty of room why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay in spacious surroundings in and around Cala Blanca.
