At the end of a promenade, over looking the sea, you will find the casino, a wonderful piece of Art Nouveau style architecture that warrants a visit even if gambling isn’t your cup of tea.

The Folk Art Museum is an interesting mix of artist and creative items including a collection of beautiful icons painted on glass which date back between 200 and 300 years as well as traditional household paraphernalia and jewellery. The museum shop also sells some delightful folk art items.

Here you can enjoy a wide variety of water sports, visit Satul de Vacanta Amusement Park and scare yourself stupid on the white knuckle rides, take a ride in a cable car and admire spectacular views of the Black Sea and wander around the outdoor bazaar where you are bound to be able to pick up those wonderful gifts for home as well as a few little treats for yourself. There are also a variety of restaurants here so you can really make a day of it.

For something a little more laid back why not take a tour of the Murfatlar Vineyards a short distance from Constanta. As well as the tour you can enjoy a browse around the Vine and Wine Museum and sample some of the delicious wines produced here.
