Serviced Apartments in Vilnius

Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital city, is also a world heritage site and a real mix of the beautiful and bizarre.
Staying in a centrally located, serviced apartment or holiday letting in Vilnius gives you really convenient access to all the sights and sounds that this proud city has to offer.

From your city centre (center) apartment you are just minutes away from Vilna Gaon Jewish State Museum (The Green House), dedicated to Lithuania’s holocaust, and the Museum of Genocide Victims, set in what was once the KGB headquarters. Two heart-wrenchingly poignant places that are a must if you want to get just a small glimpse of what this country has had to endure.

A couple of the more bizarre attractions that you will be able to visit from your serviced residence are the statue of crazy Frank Zappa and the Giant Egg. The egg sits on a real nest fashioned from twigs and is said to have hatched out an angel. Tours of the city are also available and give you the opportunity to get your bearings and understand a little more about the culture of this beautiful place.

Vilnius has an enormous, 12 screen cinema, the Coca-Cola Plaza, where you can watch one of the many English speaking films being screened and you will find plenty of intriguing shops to browse through including Jonas Bugailiskis, selling traditional, Lithuanian souvenirs, a variety of book shops and the craft market where you will be able to pick up some delightful, handmade Lithuanian crafts and plenty of amber.

With an abundance of eateries and restaurants within walking distance of your apartment rental you will be spoilt for choice. Manu Kavine, a café-bar, offers a wide variety of teas, beer and guinness and does a fantastic, foil wrapped salmon fillet. There is a sports bar in the back of the cafe with a foosball table and dart board and even free internet access.
Sole Luna is a delightful café that offers great value food, outdoor dining, music and a courtyard for dancing. A really atmospheric place to dine. Tores, a more up market restaurant serves top notch food with views over Gedimina’s Castle and Vilnia River Valley. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two.

If the nightlife scene is your cup of tea then why not head over to Pacha for a drink and a dance before heading home to your apartment for a good night’s sleep.
