Serviced Apartments in Tallinn

Tallinn is the capital of Estonia and is strung out along the coast to the south of the Gulf of Finland. Finland is so close that it has been suggested that a tunnel should be built between the two, but as yet there are no definite plans. A Tallinn serviced apartment rental will give you a fabulous glimpse into the history of this enigmatic country, with two old towns to choose from, as well as the much more recent modern developments.

A Tallinn holiday rental is an all year round choice, but be careful with your clothing if you go in winter, as the temperatures can drop to as low as minus 32 Celsius – and that is really cold! The Northern Lights can be seen from all countries in that area and further north, but can’t be guaranteed of course – seeing them from the windows of your Tallinn aparthotel would be a bonus. Tallinn is a city of two halves and wherever your Tallinn holiday let is situated it is almost certainly going to display a mixture of old and new.

In Toompea, the Upper Town, you will see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built during the Russian Empire on the site of a statue of Martin Luther. The transport system is very good in the town and it will be easy to get to Toompea, no matter where your Tallinn apartment rental is situated.

The other old town, All-linn, the Lower Town, is considered one of the best preserved old towns in Europe and it is here that the 2 km of well preserved city walls are to be found. When you visit All-linn from your Tallinn city centre (center) apartment, watch out for the many towers, but especially their names. A tower called ‘Fat Margaret’ can’t help but enchant! St Olaf’s church was the tallest building in the world for nearly two hundred years until the mid-1600s and is still impressive today.

For the keen photographer or even just a happy snapper, a Tallinn serviced residence holiday will give so many opportunities for great photos you will quite literally by spoilt for choice. St Catherine’s Passage, with its tiled roofed buttresses between the two sides, holding the buildings up and apart, is probably one of the most photographed streets in the world, and the central town square, Raekoja plats, is well worth visiting from your Tallinn holiday apartment, especially when it bustles on market day.

Serviced and self-catered apartments, flats, aparthotels and holiday lets can be up to 30% cheaper than most equivalent hotel rooms and are becoming increasingly popular due to the freedom they offer. Whether it’s a short stay apartment you are looking for or a long term apartment, our holiday apartments combine all the amenities and comforts of home.  With plenty of room why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay in spacious surroundings in and around Tallinn city center.
